The Lodge tent, 20 m² under canvas for 4 people
The Lodge tent reconnects with the original campsite, without the sleeping bag laid straight on the ground.
Its 20 m² under canvas are home to bedrooms, a dining corner and a kitchen, extended by a covered terrace.
We reserve this unusual rental near Puy du Fou for campers looking for simplicity and a chance to switch off, those who spend their days outdoors and do not see the shower in the communal block as a drawback.
Here is what you will find in the Lodge tent:
- bedrooms : one with a 140 double bed, the second with 2 single beds of 80 side by side.
- The kitchenette brings together 2 gas burners, a refrigerator, a microwave, a filter coffee maker and the crockery, but no sink.
- Pillows, duvets and blankets are waiting for you on site, with a welcome kit.
- Outside, the covered terrace holds a garden lounge set and a sun lounger.
- No television or heating do not disturb this deliberate simplicity.
The camping de la Motte team’s view: the Lodge tent appeals most to campers who want to sleep in a tent without having to pitch their own. We recommend bringing headlamps and a small basin for the washing-up, as the kitchenette has no sink. The nearest toilet block is open day and night, and the wheelbarrows at reception make it easier to carry luggage from the car park.
The Tithome chalet, halfway between canvas and wood
The Tithome chalet adds wooden walls and a private WC to this simplicity.
Its 20 m² sit between the tent and the mobile home rental near Puy du Fou, with 2 bedrooms fitted with blackout curtains and a television in the living room.
Our range also goes up to the luxury mobile home in Vendée with a private spa: the Tithome chalet aims for the opposite, the essentials, done well. Its stated capacity of 4 people is especially suited to adults and 2 children, because the second bedroom combines a lower bed and an upper bed.
This unusual accommodation near Puy du Fou is made up of the following elements:
- bedrooms : one bedroom has a 140 cm double bed, the second an 80 cm single bed and a bed set up high.
- The kitchen area has a cold-water sink, 2 gas burners, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker.
- A private WC saves you night-time trips back and forth to the toilet block.
- The blackout curtains of the 2 bedrooms block out the evening and early-morning light.
- As for the living area, the television sets the Tithome apart from the Lodge tent, which does not have one.
- In front of the entrance, the covered terrace comes with garden furniture and a sun lounger.
Our favourite: the wooden walls and private WC of the Tithome chalet, which change everyday life compared with canvas, especially with young children who get up in the night. In April and September, pack a jumper and an extra duvet, as the accommodation has no heating. And keep the covered terrace for breakfasts, sheltered from the dew.
