La Cinéscénie
This year, the Cinéscénie celebrated 45 years of existence. This existence, which is the fruit of the imagination of Philippes de Villiers who was impressed and inspired by the ruins of the Château du Puy du Fou in 1977.
Since then, this show, one of the greatest in the world, has been through many rewrites of its script and countless additions of technical effects. This makes it ever more appealing and even encourages those who have already been to come back. They go with family or friends, and we can guarantee they do not regret it, given how they leave with stars in their eyes. And those stars are not the ones lighting the show, which takes place at night.
No, they are the ones generated by the beauty of the performances that use more than ,000 fireworks, 150 water jets of dizzying height, 8,000 spotlights, autonomous drones, 3D video projections…
Sound, light and choreography come to retrace and embellish theVendée history which is presented to a moved and impressed audience. The script changes and evolves, but it always speaks of the Maupillier family. It serves as a basis for introducing the audience to the people of Vendée and what they lived through from the medieval period to the Second World War.
It should be known that this production is supported by more than 4,200 volunteers, including 2,500 actors, 120 riders and more than a hundred technicians. They all go to great lengths so that this entertainment always lives up to expectations.

Puy du Fou is located 0 minutes (20 km) away by car from your accommodation to the camping de la Motte in Vendée.
You will be able to buy tickets or pass for Puy du Fou for the show, for both adults and children, directly on the Puy du Fou site. But you can buy admission for Puy du Fou and the show in question. To enjoy a good seat and admire the show and all its effects, you can pay a supplement to sit in the Silver seating or the Gold square.
Please note that admission is free for children under 3, but they must sit on your lap. We also inform you that the entertainment lasts 1 h 30 and that you are advised to arrive one hour before the first scene. Warm clothing is also recommended.
