Presentation of the show
Le signe du Triomphe is a an impressive show which sets its action in the 3rd century. It features about ten Christian prisoners, condemned to win the circus games in Rome in order to survive. At the heart of the story is Damien, a young Roman legionary who fights under the prisoners’ banner. Well… Hats off to those who imagined the script. It is not for nothing that this show is theflagship attraction at Puy du Fou. You will not, moreover, find any best entertainment in France to escape everyday life!
Let us talk a little about these circus games. They consist of three events: a chariot race, gladiator fights and a wild-beast event, replaced since last year by a naumachia. It is a kind of naval battle between Romans and Gauls with a surprising finale.
All of this takes place at the back of the park, in a immense Gallo-Roman stadium of 7,000 seats, packed full at every performance.
In a few seconds, the set is transformed before your eyes into a colossal imperial galley. It moves all around the arena as the fighting goes on, with its special effects (smoke, fire effects…). It is as if you were at the cinema!

Indeed, aside from Le Signe du Triomphe, the group that runs the park presents no fewer than 60 shows. Among the most popular is Le Mime et l’Étoile, a surprising new production that takes you back to 1914.
And do not miss the Vikings, a thrilling show that will set you tingling! There are plenty of others that deserve your attention: le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes, Les Noces de Feu, La Cinéscénie… It is up to you to choose the themes you prefer!

Puy du Fou offers you a a one-of-a-kind experience at an affordable rate. From 2 euros/day per person (30 euros/child), come and marvel at its shows, unique in France! Arriving as a group? Large families benefit from an even more affordable rate, from 38 euros/day per adult (27 euros/child). In any case, the park welcomes you from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00 and at the weekend from 9:00 to 17:00.
As for access, it all depends on your starting point. If you are staying at camping de la Motte near Puy du Fou, a 4-star establishment located just 20 minutes from the park, take the D755B or the D160. Once there, you can park free of charge in one of the secure car parks at Puy du Fou.
